(Corpus Christi, TX) STRIPES is proud to support higher education in South Texas and by partnering with STARS, South Texas Academic Rising Scholars. The mission of STARS is to assist every eligible student, achieve a successful education. Once again this year, STARS and STRIPES teamed up on a mobile campaign offered at all STRIPES locations. ALL proceeds go towards providing qualified South Texas students with university scholarships. The five-week campaign was held during the month of September at all Stripes locations in the South Texas region including the Coastal Bend and surrounding areas, Rio Grande Valley, and Laredo. Due to hard work of many STRIPES employees and the generosity of their customers, this year's fundraising campaign was once again a huge success.
STRIPES is thrilled to announce that together, they have raised a grand total of $71,140.00. Please join STRIPES as they present the check to STARS South Texas Academic Rising Scholars.
